guava was born in response to a publishing landscape that was not as diverse as it marketed itself to be. The goal is to accurately reflect today's creative landscape. We aim to highlight and prioritize diverse and up-and-coming creatives. 

This magazine has an artist first approach - there is feedback offered for every submission, free submissions, and payment for contributors. Community is at the heart of what we do, which is why each issue is available to read for free on this website.
